While we have only been open for 4 years, our owner (Jaime Toner, MS, CCC-SLP) and several other therapist have 20+ years of experience. We also have therapist that have been practicing for 2-5 years, and they have just soaked in all the information, experience, and help that the more experienced therapists have provided (and they are amazing....we can’t wait to see them when they have 20 years of experience).

Smiley Pediatric Therapies will NOT tolerate any 'no-call, no-show' absences. Our system notifies families 24 hours in advance and most sessions are scheduled the same day and time each week.
Any cancellations, less than 24 hours, will be considered a 'Late Cancel' and will automatically result in a discharge after the 2nd event. Please note, when you give our therapist/office greater than 24 hours notice, it allows us to offer that therapy time to another family who may not have a consistent schedule.
We understand that things happen in our lives or our lives get very busy, but if frequent cancellations (even with greater than 24 hours notice) are totaling more than 25% of scheduled visits within a 3 month period of time, Smiley Pediatric will review the case and modify the plan of care, which could be in the form of putting services on hold 1-2 months, reducing the number of visits per week or month, and possibly discharge services.
Please know, you can always request services be put on hold for a short duration (if life is too crazy/busy, or if there are family emergencies, or if you just need a break, etc.). When you are ready, you can just contact us and say you are ready to resume services.
